Awareness Session on IEEEXtreme Coding Competition

IEEEXtreme USJP & OUSL is an event which is held in parallel to the IEEEXtreme – 24 hours programming competition, in order to promote and also to provide a platform for the IEEE members to compete in the international level. The event is organized by the IEEE University of Sri Jayewardenepura Student Branch (IEEE USJP SB) in collaboration with the IEEE Open University of Sri Lanka Student Branch (IEEE OUSL SB).

IEEEXtreme is a global challenge which is held annually, where teams of IEEE Student members or Graduate members  compete in a 24-hour time span against each other to solve a set of programming problems, advised and proctored by IEEE members in higher grades, and often supported by an IEEE Student Branch, which would award prizes, unlimited bragging rights along with an item for the resumes of its participants.

Therefore, this is initiated with the intention to provide guidance, to share experiences and also to provide a platform for the IEEE members who wish to take part in IEEEXtreme.
