MindXtra

Hundreds of people with loads of innovative ideas have still hidden because there is a lack of well-wishers who would lend their hand to support them in implementing their ideas. So as the Leo Club of University of Moratuwa, we created MindXtra, as a platform to showcase the innovative ideas of the Sri Lankan community. MindXtra is a competition launched with the sole objective of showcasing the talent of the Sri Lankan youth with innovative ideas and in the meantime, to improve the leadership qualities and also to make new friends. Contestant have to propose their innovative ideas focusing following areas.

Water purification

Human- Elephant conflict

Waste Upcycling

The winners will be rewarded with monetary prizes. Finalists will be mentored by the experts of the field. Three feasible idea winners will be able to implement the project along with the Leo club of University of Moratuwa. Whole budget will be provided. Also, they will be provided the needed resources along with assistance.
